Recipe: Tahini Miso Dressing

I prefer to make my own salad dressings instead of using ones that are loaded with sugar (or fake sweeteners) and additives. I love this recipe so much because it’s easy, delicious, and it creates a single serving. You can also choose your desired thickness depending on what you are serving it with. For example, if I’m having a salad, I like to make my dressing a bit thinner.  However, one of my favorite ways to use this dressing is to dip steamed veggies, like broccoli, in it.  In that case, I keep the dressing a bit thicker.  It’s totally up to you, so play around with it.  Dip away, and dress up your meals!

 

Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon tahini
  • 1/2 teaspoon red miso paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon agave
  • 1-2 tablespoons almond milk

Directions

  1. Whisk all ingredients together in a small dish.
  2. Serve on a salad, or as a side dip.
