Recipe: Baked Carrot Fries

We’ve tried making our own french fries, sweet potato fries, even yuca fries so we thought to ourselves, why not carrot fries? And we’re so glad we did. Simple to make and super delicious, we added thyme for an extra flavor punch and the pairing is perfect. Watch out, you never know what fries we’ll make next!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound long carrots
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1.5 tablespoon thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425.
  2. Cut carrots into strip-like matchsticks.
  3. Place cut carrots, olive oil and thyme in a gallon bag and shake until coated.
  4. Spread out on a baking sheet and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes flipping and rotating about 3 times throughout process.
