Recipe: Homemade Cashew Butter with Vanilla Bean and Sea Salt
Cashew butter, just like cashew milk, is rich, creamy and slightly sweet. It has the most neutral flavor so it is great in baked goods or, if you’re like us, just by the spoonful! This homemade cashew butter takes about 10 minutes to make and uses roasted cashews, vanilla bean and sea salt to make it extra fancy! This recipe is paleo, gluten-free and vegan!
- 16 oz unsalted roasted cashews
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Seeds from one vanilla bean
- 1/2 sea salt
