12 Fall Salad Recipes You’ll Love

By: Chris Freytag, CPT // October 3, 2022

Salads aren’t just for summer. These fall salad recipes are bursting with all the flavors of fall!

According to Ayurveda medicine, it’s important to eat nutrient-dense meals that are warming and grounding to support your body’s transition into the cooler weather. So even though we love the cozy comfort foods when the cold weather rolls around, it’s nice to mix in something a little bit lighter now and then.

Seasonal produce is the star of these fall salads. Fall foods like squash, apples, mushrooms, sweet potatoes, and pumpkins have these fall salads bursting with flavor and are a bit hardier than a summer salad. You’ll be looking forward to your next healthy meal!

These salads are great for lunch at home or as a showstopping side dish for a fall gathering, like Thanksgiving.

What to serve with your fall salads? Try these delicious, healthy soups!
