Recipe: Turmeric Tuna Boats
Lunch Recipes, Quick + Easy Meal Recipes, Seafood Recipes, Snack and Appetizer Recipes
Tuna is one of my favorite foods. Seriously, I can’t get enough! Classic tuna salad is usually filled with fat (and not the good kind) because of the mayonnaise base. These tuna boats are made with hummus, which lowers the calories and adds extra protein. Plus, the super healthy spice, turmeric, is involved! Scoop some over sliced red peppers and you’ve got the perfect light lunch! They are also easy to make-ahead and pack into tupperware. Tasty, and travel-friendly!

Hi... I was just wondering if you could list the protein, fats, and carbs (and maybe other nutritional content, like if it has a significant amount of something important like potassium, or vitamin C... etc. ? Thank you, lucytmcm@gmail.com
