Targets: quads, core & obliques How To: Sink into a plie squat, bend side to side using the obliques to reach down behind your knee or calf.

Targets: center core & obliques How To: Start with regular crunches, then switch to bicycles, using the oblique muscles.

Targets: core, shoulders, glutes, and obliques This is an advanced move. Squeeze the core tight to keep the hips stable in the center.

Targets: shoulders, core & obliques  Modify: to modify, drop the bottom knee down to the ground for a modified side plank.
