No trips to the grocery store, no chopping, and no work whatsoever? Now, that sounds like my kind of recipe! This Lazy Girl Turkey Salsa Chili requires turkey meat (frozen or fresh), whatever salsa happens to be in your fridge, and whatever beans are hanging out in your cupboard. Simply dump all of the ingredients into a slow cooker, set it, and come back to a delicious and healthy family meal!

- 1 can black beans
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can white northern beans
- 1 can dice tomatoes
- 1 cup salsa

Do you put the frozen turkey in frozen in a lump or do you cook it first?

Hi Deb - the ground turkey shouldn't be frozen, just refrigerated and then it will cook in the slow cooker. Click on the green circle for more directions!

Do you drain the beans, or just dump in the whole can contents?
Chris Freytag on November 10, 2015 at 2:12 PM
Yes, go ahead and drain them before you dump them in!
