  • 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • Pinch of cloves
  • For the Topping
  • 3 tablespoon coconut sugar
  • 2 tablespoon whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped macadamia nuts

    Hi Margo - Absolutely you can use flour that works for you. Just make sure you are using the right amount and converting with almond flour so that the recipe turns out okay!
