I love pumpkin ice cream, but I don’t love hormone and sugar packed frozen desserts that lead to a blood sugar roller coaster and food coma.  Can you say low energy?  So, I was so excited when I came across this recipe for a healthier version of pumpkin ice cream, namely, pumpkin pie frozen yogurt.  It is also the perfect recipe to make when you have leftover pumpkin around (which we all do in the fall).



  • 1 cup vanilla, nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup pure pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup fat free milk
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
