Nothing says Fall like a pumpkin soup.  Its warm, savory, and full of Autumn flavors.  This recipe has a just a touch of sweet to it, and a kick of spice from the chipotle cream.  The texture is velvety smooth, which creates the perfect bowl of comforting goodness.  Plus it’s low calorie, low fat, and low carb!  A great recipe for a crisp Autumn day.



  • 1 15 oz can pumpkin
  • 2 cups fat free chicken broth
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 gloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp light butter
  • 1/2 cup plain, non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp ground chipotle chili powder
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3/4” piece of fresh ginger
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • Pinch of nutmeg
