Recipe: Vegan Candy Corn

My daughter is vegan, so we are always on the hunt for good vegan recipes. She loves candy corn so much, but has done without it these last few Halloweens because of it’s lack of vegan-approval. Well this year, we found the solution: Vegan Candy Corn! This recipe is free from all those yucky dyes in regular candy corn. It’s surprisingly easy to make as well, containing only a few ingredients. We will most likely be making a few batches of this throughout the next few weeks. My daughter is so happy to have her candy corn obsession back in her life! Thanks to our friend Chocolate Covered Katie, now our candy corn can be all-natural and free of additives.
- 1/4 cup raw cashew butter
- dash of salt
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- tiny pinch turmeric and a few drops beet juice (for coloring)
