HOW TO GET BETTER AT PUSH-UPS (+ a tutorial)!

How To Do More Push-Ups

The key to being able to do more push-ups is starting slow and continuing to practice. I’ll say it again, the key to getting better at push-ups is practice! 😉

If you’re not ready to start with a standard push-up (that’s okay!), you can start with this push-up modifications.

WALL PUSH-UPS

Incline Push-Ups!

By elevating the body off the floor, this will give the chest and shoulders extra support!

We're talking push-up form today. And I am all about perfecting the form to keep the body happy and healthy!

Start in a high plank. Modification, you can take it to your knees!

The biggest problem I see in push-ups is bowing the elbows out to the side. This creates strain in the neck and trap area (which we want to avoid).

TIP: bring the elbows close to the sides and use more triceps in your push-ups!

Dropping all the way down to the ground, chest to floor, using the triceps! Plus you'll love the way your arms look!
