HOW TO DO A PROPER LATERAL RAISE 

Muscles being used in the lateral raise. 

GOOD FORM = GOOD RESULTS 

MEDIAL DELTOID 

Top of the shoulder, the muscle that we are using in a lateral raise. 

HOW TO: 

Imagine you are dumping out 2 pitchers of water. 

WHAT NOT TO DO: 

Try not to scrunch the neck.  Relax the neck and keep shoulders down. 

Pick up a pair of weights. Slightly soften your knees, core is tight, lower your center of gravity and lift the weights. 

CONGRATULATIONS!  Now you know you to properly perform a lateral raise!
