Easy Homemade Guacamole

If you’re looking for a simple appetizer or snack, there’s nothing better than a bowl of homemade guacamole. Make with just a handful of fresh ingredients and 5 minutes of your time. Perfect for scooping with your favorite tortilla chips!

Ingredients

  • 2 avocados seed removed and peeled
  • ½ jalapeño pepper seeded and chopped
  • ¼ red onion finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ - ½ of a lime juiced

For the Garnish

  • chopped cilantro, cherry tomatoes, red onion

Instructions

  • Add avocados to a mixing bowl and use a potato masher or fork to gently mash the avocado, leaving it slightly chunky.
  • Stir in the jalapeno, red onion, cilantro, garlic, sea salt, and lime juice. Taste and add more lime or salt, to taste.
  • Scoop into a serving dish and serve with cut up veggies or tortilla chips.
