I’m a Minneapolis native who has lived in Chicago and LA but always felt compelled to return home to my roots. I went to acting school for a few years before deciding to follow my lifelong passion for writing, which led me to various editorial jobs around town and then to freelance gigs with sites like the Huffington Post and HelloGiggles. When I’m not writing I can be found hitting my stride on a long run around the lakes, baking something sweet (everyone needs a reward, right?) or hanging out with my girlfriends. I’m a firm believer in storytelling, garden traipsing, and befriending every dog I meet.
