Whenever I go to parties, I make sure to bring something healthy that I know I’ll be able to eat if, by chance, there aren’t a whole lot of other healthy options. And this olive tapenade fits all my criteria! I love this recipe because it’s quick, easy, healthy and still full of flavor. Perfect to pair with a veggie tray or sprouted tortilla chips, this dip will have guests swooning and your tummy happy.


  • 1 1/2 cups black olives
  • 2/3 cup pimiento-stuffed green olives
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 2 teaspoons stone ground mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
