Recipe: Banana Bread Oatmeal

This banana bread oatmeal tastes just like banana bread!  But, it requires way less work to prepare and can, in fact, be made in just a few minutes on any weekday morning.  It also has healthy fats from almond milk and walnuts, fiber from the oatmeal and natural sweetness from the banana!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • For Topping
  • 1 small banana, sliced
  • Handful walnuts, chopped
  • Unsweetened almond milk (or other nut milk)
  • Honey or maple syrup

Directions

  1. Cook oats according to package instructions. Add in cinnamon.
  2. Top with sliced banana, chopped walnuts, a bit of nut milk to your liking and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
