The Basil Vodka lemonade Cocktail is one of the simplest, most refreshing drinks out there. If you’re a fan of vodka lemonades, adding a little basil is going to be your new thing.

To make this drink, just add 2 ounces of vodka to a few ounces of lemonade and add your sprigs of basil!

This cocktail is a low-calorie, delicious combination that won’t ruin your health goals. Plus, you’ll love sipping on it all season long!

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 6 to 8 ounces lemonade
  • Basil leaves

Directions

  1. Combine vodka and lemonade; top with basil! Alternatively, you can muddle the basil at the bottom of the glass before adding the liquid for more basil flavor! Serve over ice.

That sounds delicious. But too much sugar for me. I make what's called a Holland Razor with 2 ounces of vodka and 1 ounce of fresh lemon juice. Shake it up with ice and pour into martini glass. Sprinkle with a little cayenne pepper. Calories: 128

This is very refreshing. Instead of plain basil, I muddled some of my cinnamon basil from my garden. Very nice variation.
