Kabobs on the grill are great for company too. Grab a protein for each, a few veggies, and stick them on a skewer. Then let guests grab the ones that look best to them.

Keep it easy, colorful, and delicious and get grilling today! And it never hurts to make extra for leftovers!!

How To Grill Kabos

Here are the basic steps to grilling kabobs.

  1. Stick meat and veggies on a pre-soaked wooden skewer or metal skewer.
  2. Season them up with a little olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  3. Place on a pre-heated grill and rotate throughout the cooking process for even heating.
  4. Remove from grill when protein is cooked through and veggies are charred, about 10-15 minutes.

Pro Tip: Oil the meat and veggies, not the grill; your seasonings will stick better and your grill will stay cleaner!

Grilling Skewers

When it comes to grilling skewers, there are a couple of options that we like to use.

  • Wooden skewers: Wooden skewers are a great cheap option, but require some planning ahead due to soaking time. If you use wooden skewers, plan to soak them for at least 30 minutes before putting them on the grill.
  • Metal skewers: Metal skewers don’t require soaking ahead of time and can be used right away. They are slightly more expensive than wooden skewers but since you can re-use them, they’re less expensive in the long run.
