These healthy cookie dough bites will satisfy that cookie dough craving while still checking all the boxes of a sweet treat that is also good for you. They require just a couple simple ingredients (no raw eggs or raw flour to worry about!), no baking, and are easily adaptable.

Cookie Dough Bite Ingredients
These delicious cookie dough bites are made from simple ingredients you may already have stocked in your pantry!
- Oat Flour: instead of all purpose flour like in a regular baked cookie, these bites use oat flour. (To make oat flour, just blend up some old fashioned oats in a blender at high speed until they resemble flour.) Use gluten free oats to make gluten free cookie bites.
- Nut Butter: we typically use almond butter when making these raw cookie dough bites but you can use any favorite nut butter that you have in your pantry. Try it with peanut butter, sunflower butter, or cashew butter.
- Pure Maple Syrup: adds sweetness and moisture to these chocolate chip cookie dough bites. You can use agave or honey instead of maple syrup.
- Mini Chocolate Chips: we like to use mini chocolate chips but regular chocolate chips are fine too. You could also chop up a bar of dark chocolate for these delicious bites.
Variations and Substitutions
Use these substitution ideas to make these delicious cookie dough bites your own:
- Add vanilla or almond extract: we wanted to keep the ingredient list short and sweet, but you can add more cookie dough flavor to these edible cookie dough bites by adding vanilla extract or almond extract.
- Use white chocolate chips: use white chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Add dried fruit: omit the chocolate chips and add dried fruit instead. These no bake cookie dough bites would be delicious with dried cranberries, raisins, or dried cherries. You could also add crumbled freeze dried fruit.
How to Make Healthy Cookie Dough Bites
Follow these simple instructions to make healthy cookie dough bites with no baking included!
Mix into a Dough: add the oat flour, nut butter, maple syrup, and water in a bowl and mix well with a spoon until a thick dough is formed. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Roll and Chill: Use a tablespoon to scoop out the dough and roll into little bites. If dough is too soft to roll, chill for 30 minutes before rolling. Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.

Fridge: store these healthy cookie dough bites in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. These are the perfect make ahead treat – we love making a batch on the weekend for the work week ahead.
Freezer: you can also store leftover cookie dough balls in a freezer in an airtight container or freezer safe bag for up to 3-4 months. Eat straight out of the freezer or let them sit on the counter a minute to soften and enjoy.

Ingredients
- 1 cup oat flour
- ½ cup nut butter
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoons water
- ⅓ cup mini chocolate chips
- Sea salt, to taste
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl until well combined.
- Roll into balls and serve at room temperature or store in the fridge or freezer. (Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes if too wet to roll.) If eating from frozen, defrost for a few minutes to allow them to soften before eating.
