    Our favorite way to cook green beans is roasted in the oven. They develop such a delicious crisp texture and it’s super easy too! Green beans in the oven free up your stovetop cooking and make less of a mess too. Other options for cooking green beans include steaming or grilling them, but we prefer to roast green beans for the result it yields every time.

    Step-By-Step Roasted Green Beans

    Here’s how to make this green bean recipe:

    1. First, rinse your green beans and pat dry with a towel.
    2. Lay on a baking sheet spread apart and not overlapping as much as possible.
    3. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    4. Roast in the oven at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.


    We love how well the taste of lemon pairs with green beans, so we love to add a bit of lemon zest or juice on top of the green beans once they’re cooked. Sliced or slivered almonds also make a great addition sprinkled on top for some additional texture.
