  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 ounces 80% dark chocolate
  • Coarse sea salt

Is it possible to replace the oil and flour?

    Hi! Just depends on what you're trying to replace them with. Oftentimes, you can replace oil for butter or applesauce and substitute different flours but ratios can be affected and lead to a different result.

I am allergic to Gluten and Almond Flour. What would you substitute for the Almond Flour?

    Hi Kathy - we personally haven't used a substitute in this recipe and substituting differing flours can be a little tricky. But maybe you could try a coconut flour? I'm guessing there are lots of articles out there are gluten free and almond flour substitutions you may eant to check out.
